So lately I have been brought to the attention of HTML 5. It seems every time I turn around someone else is talking about it. Since I am a Webmaster I need to keep up with the current trends so i started to research it. What I learned is HTML 5 is not really an official update or anything. Its basically gurus from the open source community who are pushing this and it seems that it will be optional if you would like to use it or not.

From reading articles and watching videos I have seen some really cool things by using HTML 5. One of the things that I really like and are excited to use is GEO Location. This will be really great to convert traffic. Another cool addition with HTML 5 is now you can use a video tag. You no longer will need to find or create flash video players. You could also use JavaScript and manipulate the actual video player. HTML 5 seems like nothing much different to me. There are some tags that they are doing away with. Like the <center>  <font> and tags. However you can still use CSS to achieve those goals.
