My question is, what could have happened and why are our experian reports wrong? Experian had my credit card closed down because they reported to bank of america that I owed too much money which isnt true. My mom a short while back remembers seeing some of my accounts on her experian report. Also, my mom got a equifax report and I got a transunion report and on these 2 reports all information and accounts are correct for each of us. Please advice me of what to do. However both our social numbers do not look similar. Long story short, my experian report shows that I have accounts open and closed that belong to my mom, the report lists my moms multiple names (she never changed her name, it shows different spelling variations) and it shows her social security number but my birth date! However when I first submitted the request for my report I used my social number and I was able to verify my questions. I have called most of my accounts and they verified that each account only belongs to me. . Can I file a complaint or even a lawsuit for this? One
