Here is the deal, my bf has a desktop that after three days of trying it was completely FUBAR'd, i have an hp OS recovery cd that I used and it worked fine and put XP on it, but it asked me to activate it, so I used a serial number from another computer that i looked at for my job which is going to be wiped and given to a company that sells refurb equipment, and it took it.
