So today I just installed Microsoft Windows 7 and wanted to change the way Windows Explorer opens up. So I started google around and found that you can do this quite simple.

1. Right-click on the Windows Explorer icon, and then click on to Properties.
2. In the Target box, add the following text to the end of the current target text:
%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e,::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}
3. Click OK.

It was that simple. Now when you click on your windows explorer icon. It will open up to the my computer path.
